October begins with important progress behind the scenes. Help from a government agency, university or non-profit organisation may advance a project. Funding, grants or data-backed proposals are favoured, so bring facts, figures and polish. Working away from a micromanager gives your imagination room to breathe. Bliss. Mid-month, avoid hidden power struggles. Don't confront a boss, mentor or senior figure unless you enjoy making life harder. You may disagree with them, but their support could still help you complete a course or secure a job. If a trip is cancelled, don't sulk magnificently. A better travel opportunity is coming. For now, family duties matter. Later, you may feel frustrated by working privately without recognition. Confidentiality may prevent you from sharing achievements, but experience is still valuable. Mentoring enthusiastic students could restore your motivation. Their energy reminds you why your knowledge matters. By late October, a secret may come out. Don't scramble to hide it again. Own your part, accept mistakes and repair trust through actions, not speeches. At month's end, retreat is essential. Decline some invitations, switch off your phone and stop being available to everyone. Rest is not a defeat. It's how you return stronger, sharper and far less likely to say something regrettable.
