You are committed to reaching your goals even though family issues keep interfering. Rather than rushing to help whenever a problem arises, leave a struggling housemate to face the consequences of their actions. Carelessness has made them their own worst enemy and until they figure out how to manage their finances, plan for the future or organise their time, they will struggle to make progress. It is not your responsibility to compensate for their failures. You have more important matters to focus on.
